COURSE DESCRIPTION :

Pelita Harapan University BIPA class specifically for UPH students who are foreigner (Expatriate). BIPA learning is basically a learning behaviour process that leads to generating and conditioning student motivation to be able to master Indonesian properly and correctly in achieving competency in vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or mastery of Indonesian language structures, both in the aspect of language skills in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. After graduating from this course, students are expected to be able to communicate in Indonesian. This will be very useful for students to adapt to the campus environment, in the world of work, and everyday life in Indonesia.

Learning Hours: 8 weeks, @ 120 min/ week  = 2 Indonesian Credit System

Credits: 2 Indonesian Credit System

Kusman Sudarja, S.Sos., M.Pd. is a Lecturer of Liberal Arts Study Program. He teaches Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing, and Soft Skills courses. His areas of interest include teaching Indonesian language, critical thinking training, and scientific research guidance. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Master’s Degree in Language Education.
